- 1 teaspoon of Simply Chef Bakingsoda
- 1 tablespoon of Pure cornstarch
- 275 grams of all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- 170 grams of unsalted butter
- 150 grams of brown sugar
- 1 whole egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla flavour
- 200 grams of chocolatechips or nuts
Chocolate Chips
- Mix the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, salt and baking soda in a bowl. Set aside.
- Cream the butter using the mixer and gradually add the sugar until fluffy. Whisk the egg and vanilla flavour.
- Gradually add the flour mixture into the butter until blended.
- Add the chocolate chips, mixed it well.
- Chill the dough for 3 hours or overnight.
- Take out the dough from the refrigerator and allow it to soften for 12 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit
- Using a measuring spoon, form a rounded cookie dough and put it in cookie sheet with at least 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-11 minutes or until the edges are slightly brown.
- Cool for about 10 minutes.
