Chocolate Chips

  • 1 teaspoon of Simply Chef Bakingsoda
  • 1 tablespoon of Pure cornstarch
  • 275 grams of all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 170 grams of unsalted butter
  • 150 grams of brown sugar
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla flavour
  • 200 grams of chocolatechips or nuts
  1. Mix the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, salt and baking soda in a bowl. Set aside.
  2. Cream the butter using the mixer and gradually add the sugar until fluffy. Whisk the egg and vanilla flavour.
  3. Gradually add the flour mixture into the butter until blended.
  4. Add the chocolate chips, mixed it well.
  5. Chill the dough for 3 hours or overnight.
  6. Take out the dough from the refrigerator and allow it to soften for 12 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit
  8. Using a measuring spoon, form a rounded cookie dough and put it in cookie sheet with at least 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake for 10-11 minutes or until the edges are slightly brown.
  10. Cool for about 10 minutes.
  11. Serve and enjoy
