Maja Blanca

  • ¾ cup of Simply Chef Pure Cornstarch
  • 4 cups of coconut milk
  • 1 can of condensed milk (380grams)
  • 3/4cup of evaporated or fresh milk
  • ¾ cup of sugar
  • 1 can of sweet kernel corn (400grams)
  • 1 cup of grated cheese
  1. Pour coconut milk, sugar and condensed milk in a pot. Stir well until ingredients are blended. Simmer and stir regularly
  2. Combine the cornstarch and fresh milk or evaporated milk until the cornstarch is totally dissolved.
  3. Slowly pour the cornstarch mixture in the pot while stirring it thoroughly add the drained sweet kernel corn.
  4. Stir continuously until the mixture thickens.
  5. Pour it in a tray and allow it to slightly cool. Then refrigerate for about 1-2 hours.
  6. Put the grated cheese on top and cut into squares.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
