Sotanghon

  • Simply Chef Sotanghon
  • 2 tbsp. cooking oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 pc. Onion, chopped
  • 6 tbsp. atsuete oil
  • 4 cups shrimp stock or water
  • Spring onion & fried garlic for garnishing
  • 1 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Salt and ground black pepper to taste
  1. Boil the chicken breast in 15 cups of water until cooked. Set aside the broth and sliced the chicken into strips.
  2. Sauté the onion and garlic.
  3. Add the chicken strips, patis (fish sauce) and cook for about 2 minutes.
  4. Add chicken broth and chicken broth cube and bring to a boil.
  5. Add the Simply Chef Sotanghon and boil until noodles are cooked.
  6. Add salt and Simply Chef Black pepper powder to taste.
  7. Place the sotanghon on a bowl, add the boiled egg and garnish it with green onions. Serve hot.
