Iodized Salt

Salt is possibly the oldest seasoning  used to enhance the taste of a dish for it is being used in most of the dishes be it a home dish or even in restaurants and fine dining. Salt naturally suppresses bitter flavors and at the same time it enhances aroma and natural flavor.

UNDER R.A. No. 8172 or AN ACT FOR SALT IODIZATION NATIONWIDE (ASIN) requires the fortification of salt or addition of iodine to all salt intended for human consumption in order to eliminate micronutrient malnutrition in the Philippines.
